Its location was beautiful in the restaurant Tagine was good. The room was brand-new, the staff was exceptionally polite. Enjoyed my stay at this charming old hotel and would like to come again.

The setting was lovely and amazing and the staff were extremely friendly people on shift. It was about 30 km from the airport. The restaurant here was pretty good for dinner, we both ordered excellent dishes.  

Distance to the airport was just 30 km.

The staff were very good, and the free parking was available. This accommodation had a countryside setting in lovely grounds with a wild adventure area.

The service was good in my opinion. The staff members were all excellent quality and smart. This accommodation was in the countryside location so close to the museum.

Amazing location close to Beamish attraction, wonderful base for a weekend. Delicious breakfast with ample portions, reasonably priced.

The setting is incredible and beautiful, very close to the micro brewery onsite, and the Stables bar/restaurant. The hotel rooms are spacious well appointed with a double jacuzzi bath.

We enjoyed hot breakfasts!

It was well-kept with garden view, good enough for an overnight stay. The location of the hotel was secluded, next to the beautiful gardens, the near by Beamish Open Air Museum, and a stream. No complaints whatsoever, the venue met required needs.  

Good base for discovering Stanley with nice staff with the service provided by friendly staff. Pleasant hotel in a countryside location to find restaurant. Near an old manor house which has been so successfully upgraded and the pub next door. 

Superb breakfast to start the day. Surprisingly large unit in a separate stable bar. The location excellent and good in an old manor house which has been so successfully upgraded.

I must comment on its countryside location - it was marvellous.

Everything was well-maintained, even so a few employees were very unfriendly.

This hotel met required needs in every way, recommend. My room was spacious well appointed and well-kept with a splendid view of the garden. The location was perfect, in the splendour of the reception area etc, and my bed was comfortable. 

Surprisingly large and luxurious units with huge double bath and courteous stuff. Lovely area, countryside location near to the Stables Bar as well as the north east of England.

The units were bright and the staff were courteous and very good people on shift. It was in a countryside setting to museum.
